  8. Welcome to the July 1996 GAC FLAK!

  10. Remember to properly assign GAC_NL: after extracting this
  11. archive. This is the only way to get it to work right.
  12. Assign GAC_NL: to the location you have extracted it to.
  13. i.e. extract to RAM: then assign GAC_NL: to RAM:GAC_NL.

  15. This is the PageStream3 edition.

  17. I have included the text of one of the articles this month.
  18. Be careful, GAC_NL:ArticleText/DomeyerInterviewPGS.txt uses
  19. PageStream3 text formatting codes.
  20.  
  21. I included a JPEG of Girish Nath's Amiga OS 4 graphic in
  22. order to greatly reduce the size of this archive. The readme
  23. is included unaltered. The 24bit version Girish writes about
  24. is in IFF24. I got it by emailing him and asking kindly.

  26. There are a number of EPS files included. Their names are
  27. self-explanatory.

  29. The cover art this issue was created using the Web Page logos
  30. of PIOS, phase 5, Amiga Technologies, DraCo, and VISCorp as
  31. well as pictures of the ED set top and the Eagle Towers in
  32. addition to the GIF PIOS uses for their web page's background.
  33. The software used was, as always, ImageEngineer3.0. Thanks for
  34. a GREAT program, Simon. Personal Paint 6.4 was used to create
  35. the cover art's background by using the paperbackground.gif as
  36. a brush.

  38. The articles this month are the phase 5 announcement, the
  39. Domeyer `Interview' by Massimo Tantignone, a couple of blurbs
  40. about Eagle and PIOS, and the Blittersoft Web Page's Eagle
  41. Pricelist.
